Team Project, Joblube.com

2012 fall semester, I and other great classmates had been working on a mash-up website project. We scrapped data from monster.com, and dice.com and show result on Joblube.com depending on a title, location, and distance.  Here is the snapshot of the website with following features.

  1. Social Sharing
Twitter Button : user can click on tweet button to share a finding.   
Tweet Message : a Tweet will automatically be generated with all of the appropriate information.
  

  1. Display Number of Post Views
Before: User can click on the job to visit the site.
After: The view counter will increment by one after viewing the job.


  1. Dynamically Display Search Trends
Trending : The site will keep track of keywords inputted by users and store them in a MySQL    database. The most popular keywords will be displayed on the homepage for users to see.


  1. Sort by Date or Relevance
Date: sorts results from newest to oldest.
     









Relevance: sorts based on the relevance of keywords. It will prioritize all descriptions that have the keywords entered by the user.

  1. Find Jobs within Specified Area
